CBAG Holiday In-Formal Brings Community Together for a Season of Giving
The Connecticut Business Aviation Group (CBAG) closed out the year in festive fashion with its Holiday In-Formal Social, an evening that brought together connection, celebration, and meaningful impact. Held at Black Hog Brewing in Oxford, Connecticut, the event welcomed more than 50 attendees from across the state’s business aviation community and proved to be a true highlight of the season.
In addition to networking and holiday cheer, the evening centered around CBAG’s Holiday Toy Drive, which exceeded expectations. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and supporters, CBAG raised over $1,200 and collected more than 70 toys, all donated to the Connecticut Children’s Foundation. These contributions will directly benefit children receiving care at Connecticut Children’s Hospital, as well as children and families in need throughout the community during this special time of year.
Guests enjoyed great food and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, with local favorites 900 Degrees and J.J. Stacks food trucks keeping everyone well-fed throughout the evening. CBAG extends sincere thanks to Black Hog Brewing for being a fantastic host and helping create the perfect setting for an inclusive and memorable gathering.
Reflecting on the success of the event, CBAG President John Gabriel shared:
“The success of our Holiday In-Formal Social and Toy Drive truly speaks to the strength of the CBAG community. None of this would be possible without the continued support of our Platinum Sponsors, Atlantic Aviation and West Star Aviation, the dedication of the CBAG Board of Directors, and—most importantly—the incredible support of our members. Thank you to those who embodied the spirit of giving with their generous donations to our toy drive benefiting the Connecticut Children's Foundation - you truly helped spread holiday cheer to those in need within our community.”
The Holiday In-Formal Social was more than just a celebration—it was a reminder of what makes CBAG special: a community committed to supporting one another, giving back, and advancing business aviation in Connecticut.
CBAG thanks everyone who attended, donated, and helped make the evening such a meaningful success, and looks forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.
