Introducing S.T.A.R.T. - CBAG’s Approach to Aviation Safety Awareness
Safety has always been foundational to business aviation, and in 2026, CBAG is deepening that commitment with the launch of S.T.A.R.T. — Safety Trend Awareness and Risk Topics, a dedicated aviation safety stand down designed to inform, educate, and engage our regional aviation community.
Taking place on Monday, March 2nd, beginning at 9:00 AM, S.T.A.R.T. will be hosted at the New England Air Museum, providing a fitting backdrop for meaningful conversations about aviation safety. The event will feature expert presentations from representatives of the Federal Aviation Administration alongside experienced professionals from local air charter operators, offering both regulatory perspective and real-world operational insight.
S.T.A.R.T. is designed to go beyond theory, focusing on current safety trends, emerging risk topics, and practical strategies that aviation professionals can apply in their day-to-day operations. In addition to speaking sessions, attendees will have opportunities to engage with safety-focused vendors and participate in educational sessions offering applicable credit opportunities.
We are excited to bring this event to our community and proud to create a forum that encourages open dialogue, shared learning, and continuous improvement. S.T.A.R.T. reflects CBAG’s ongoing dedication to fostering a safer, stronger business aviation environment—and we look forward to welcoming industry professionals for a meaningful and impactful day of safety-focused collaboration.
