NBAA White Plains Regional Draws Record Crowd

A Record Day at HPN: CBAG Joins NBAA's Best-Attended Northeast Regional

Last month, nearby Westchester County Airport (KHPN) played host to what has become one of the business aviation calendar's most anticipated regional events — and by every measure, this year's NBAA HPN Regional set a new bar. With over 3,000 aviation professionals in attendance, it was the best-attended NBAA regional at HPN to date, a remarkable turnout made all the more impressive by the conditions on the ground. Those who were there will remember it: a hot, humid day that gave way to a late rain that tested everyone's commitment to the industry they love. And yet the crowd stayed, the conversations kept going, and the energy never flagged. That says everything about the strength of this community.

CBAG at the Table — Literally

For the Connecticut Business Aviation Group, the HPN Regional was more than a day out. It was an opportunity to show up as an active and engaged partner in the broader Northeast business aviation ecosystem. On the day of the event, CBAG was represented at the NBAA local regional group table, joining fellow organizations from across the Northeast in a shared space designed to connect attendees with the local and regional groups that support this industry year-round. It was a fitting setting — a reminder that the work NBAA does nationally is amplified at the local level by organizations like ours, and that those relationships matter.

Supporting WAMA and the Golf Community

CBAG's involvement in the HPN Regional week extended beyond the event itself - with another table to boot! As a supporting partner of the Westchester Aircraft Maintenance Association's (WAMA) annual golf tournament, CBAG members and board representatives were on hand to represent the organization and strengthen ties with the maintenance and technical services community. WAMA's golf tournament has long been a fixture of the regional aviation social calendar, and CBAG's participation reflected our commitment to being present and supportive across the full spectrum of business aviation disciplines — not just the flight operations side of the house. CBAG thanks WAMA for the partnership and hope to support them, as well as our other local & regional groups across the northeast in the future.

Gratitude to NBAA

Events like the HPN Regional don't happen without significant organizational investment, and CBAG wants to extend genuine thanks to NBAA for their continued support of local and regional groups like ours. The regional format — bringing the association's resources, programming, and network directly to local aviation communities — is one of the most effective things NBAA does to keep the industry connected at the ground level. The HPN event demonstrated that appetite for in-person connection in this industry remains strong, and that when NBAA provides the platform, professionals from across the region will show up in force.

For those who couldn't make it this year, put it on your calendar now for 2027. And for those who braved the heat and the rain alongside us — well done. We hope to see you at next year’s event or one of our events coming soon!
